Our studio is located 10 minutes from the city center of Strasbourg, which allows the client's team and actors to join the shoot effortlessly.

Ex Persona, a new motion capture and animation studio in Strasbourg, was born from the alliance of passionate professionals for more than twelve years in the field. Drawing on our expertise acquired on a multitude of animation, video game and special effects projects, we perfectly understand the challenges and constraints inherent to each production.

Thomas Obrecht

Thomas Obrecht

During his 12 years of experience in various French and foreign companies in the 3D animation and video game industry, Thomas has specialized in motion capture, a technique that he masters perfectly in all its aspects and which has fascinated him since the beginning. From 3D animator to supervisor, he was able to intervene in all stages of development of this technique : although having started his career doing animation editing and final export, he gradually became interested in the capture techniques, and was thus able to assist animation directors on set, monitor 3D restitution, and works on data. He was also able to develop numerous tutorials and set up internal training for companies. Thomas has also trained in different emerging software in order to stay as close as possible to technical developments in motion capture and animation in general. Today, creating and developing a studio dedicated to this technology seems to be a logical continuation, as the ambition and desire to participate in the development of the sector in Europe and the Grand Est Area.

Adrian Bravo

Motion Capture Supervisor

Adrian Bravo

Adrian is an accomplished animator and 3D artist. With his 8 years of experience in the field and with the use of motion capture, he was able to combine his passion for filmmaking and realistic animation. His expertise was acquired by integrating some of the largest studios in the field in France, notably by joining the MocapLab and Solid Anim teams for the motion capture set part. Adrian also joined the talented teams of Ubisoft, Quantic Dream, and finally Unit Image, internationally renowned studios, where he had the opportunity to use his different skills such as motion editing, and technical management of the project's activities to which he was assigned. He also developed and sharpened his skills in direction on many productions those past years. With his fields of expertise covering the services of Ex Persona, his motivation and his fervor, Adrian is a major asset to the team, for the establishment and evolution of the studio, and for the long-term strategy of the company.
